Although her death, like the death of anyone, is sad and When Harry Met Sally is good (although not nearly as clever as it thinks it is), Nora Ephron is still responsible for crimes against cinema like Michael and Mixed Nuts (two of the worst movies I've ever seen). Still, thanks for Harry and Sally. RIP

Very sad. I am a particular fan of When Harry Met Sally, even though she did not direct it, the writing is excellent. RIP.

I don't really see what the point was in bringing up the films where she wasn't that good. That's like saying saying RIP, but you'll always be remembered for dropping a vase!

What a huge loss this talented lady's passing is to the world of movies and entertainment. If Leonardo de Vinci had been a writer or movie director - he might have equalled this amazing woman. Her ability to tell a story and the dialogue she created will never be equaled - Nora Ephron is responsible for some of the best lines in cinema history. The famous "orgasm" scene stole the show in 'When Harry Met Sally" - but my favourite scene (and I think the most priceless conversation in the whole movie) is the one between Billy Crystal and the late Bruno Kirby - while they are taking part in a mexican wave at a ballgame! Fantastic! For those of you who do not own a copy of this movie - go out and buy it immediately - even if you are not a fan of the movie - there is a lovely interview with Nora Ephron contained in the special features.

May you rest in peace Nora - you will be missed.

Michael was ok and certaintly not a (as daft as it sounds) "crime against cinema".
RIP Nora
