The Kinky Friedman track made me LOL. The Just a Guitar one sounds like it should be on every jukebox in every run-down roadside bar in every lovers on the run movie ever made. The Glenn Branca, wow. Just wow.

Aye Kinky's good craic. Interesting guy as a singing jewish coyboy in Texas Glenn Branca was played on extremely heavy rotation about 10 years ago. If my memory is correct he was involved with ' The Theoretical Girls' and did a track called 'Go fuck yourself' ( that title just repeated for 5 mins over chugging guitar)

Also you've probably worked out that 'brown paper bag' is Ronnie Size, not Sise. I had no 'Z' on my old laptop

So working my way from the bottom of the list up, America is a song I can't really listen to because of someone playing it to death in the past. Loved The Show-Stoppers and already knew and liked Ghost in My House. Then I realised you'd included the Button Moon theme. Excellent choice.

It is It always filled me with melancholy as a child, well it still does..

Fix Up, Look Sharp is a quality tune, but the 9th best of all time? Dunno about that...

Couldn't agree more with the number 1 though.

And aside from the Oasis & Madge numbers, that's a pretty solid top 20.

So according to that list Dizzee Rascal's Fix Up Look Sharp (at no. 9) is better than anything by.....Nickelback?

Jesus.

Have a word with yourself Tommy, syphilis is better than Nickelback,

Some great choices in there, although of course it isn't a patch on my list.
