Todays PL Predictions.

Swansea 2 v West Ham 1

Aston Villa 0 v Everton 2
Man Utd 1 v Fulham 1
Norwich 1 v QPR 2
Southampton 2 v Wigan 0
Sunderland 1 v Reading 2
Tottenham 3 v West Brom 2

Chelsea 4 v Newcastle 2

Brave but good call on the United game. Fulham have a habit of making life tricky for them when they face them and will be buoyed by confidence of the Norwich hammering last weekend.

I'm going for:

Swansea 3-0 West Ham

Aston Villa 2-1 Everton
Man United 1-1 Fulham
Norwich 1-1 QPR
Southampton 2-1 Wigan
Sunderland 2-2 Reading
Tottenham 2-2 West Brom

Chelsea 3-1 Newcastle

Why did I use my wildcard and still manage not to put Michu into my team? FUCK! Michael Laudrup and his magnificent hair must be thinking the EPL is a piece of piss.

I'd calm down a bit, he's faced QPR and West Ham. I reckon there were a few in the stands who could have managed that West Ham team better than 'Big Sam' today.

He also scored fifteen goals in La Liga last season, but you keep thinking that nonetheless.

Manchester United look like there clicking into gear, but they need that defence back.
Fulham can still get a goal in this game but United look like they can get more.
Good game either way.

Jelavic + Fellaini + Michu = good FF week. (providing it doesn't turn into a massacre in the Utd game, Hangeland is looking like a weak link in my team). Though I've also got Pog and McClean in my team, what happens there? I really don't understand the auto-substitution thing.

Yeah it's not as good as the Euro system imo. AFAIK the auto-subs only come into play if any starting player gets zero. I've got Pog and Guthrie in my team so they'll be swapped out for Lescott and Ramires.

Not having a good week- banked on Rooney rebounding after the Everton game

I was thinking it was turning into a good weekend for my team after I wildcarded the shit out of it and put Michu and Fellaini in. Then Vidic goes and scores an own goal. Useless bastard

He's on the bench for me, but I suspect the aforementioned auto-subs thing is ready to screw me over now. bugger.

The auto-sub bollox is undoubtedly the work of Sepp Blatter.

Well it was a win for United and under there defensive crisis I suppose any win would do,but again they took there foot-off the gass.
Manchester United need to wise up if they want to compete for the title this year.

Yes a win, and a belter from van Persie! if you didn't see it, watch it again on MOTD (of course if you're a Gunner - I wouldn't advise it!), Home debut goal from Kagawa too. So pleased. One thing , actually two things that concern me is our defensive frailty - and that horrendous cut on Rooney's thigh.

EDIT: Sir Alex has said that he'll be out for 4 week's. I hope it isn't that long. We need our Talisman.

It was clearly Michel Platini, he hates the English game.

Also: I won't get a chance to after we lose to Stoke tomorrow, so I'll gloat at Spurs now if that's alright. *gloat*

You need to get that defensive stability back, but theres only one way of that happening and that is getting the defenders fresh and fit, which I gather is slowly looking to be over with both Rio and Evans getting back into training.
Vidic looks shaky though,as does De Gea especially with the cross's coming in.

Kagawa,Cleverly,Valencia and Anderson all looked great attacking wise though,so in that sense United will always look threatening.
But it seems another opposition midfielder dominated you again, this time it was Dembele.
Dembele,Fellaini either one of these two would help United immensely but would Ferguson dip back into the transfer market?,probably not.

I hope Arsenal go in for Fellaini, as unlikely as the chance of that happening is. The last midfielder we signed from Everton worked out pretty well and our marauding midfield run/mental hairdo quotient has been diminished by Song's departure. You know it makes sense Arsene.

You never know,, stranger things have happened. I think we might (and thats a very small might) make a bid for Dembele. I read somewhere we already did make a bid for him but it was rejected or something.

As for the game, it was a terrific opening first half. And the 2nd half we went to sleep almost. I feel Vidic will get back to his best after a few more games having been out for so long. But my main worry now is Rooney, I know we have other attacking options especially with RvP in the team but i'd rather have Rooney playing beside him than out injured.

I'm hoping for a thriller here. A Ciss hat-trick and goals from Torres and Ivanovic with some Hazard assists.

Of course it will probably be 1-0 with a Terry goal or some crap like that.

If you didn't sign RVP then I would be worried for you,but you signed him and with Rooney sidelined it could be a master-stroke signing by Ferguson.

And personally I feel Rooney has gone off the boil these past few months and I think the first half from United today, especially Kagawa and RVP, shows that United can play just as good if not better without Rooney.

I read somewhere that United and Arsenal bidded in the region of 5 million for Dembele which in some circumstances is somewhat insulting given the ability the player has and how Fulham have greatly developed him.

lol! Look's like you both got it wrong on the United vs Fulham game! but with our defensive situation right now, a draw probably seemed right. Still, happy with the win. Happy with RvP scoring. Happy with Kagawa scoring. But pissed with that injury to Rooney

Rooney and RVP can't play together (not to mention the fact that Wayne is currently in one of his 'legendary' patches of form). Playing van Persie as the lone striker is best for the player and for the team, if I was a United fan I'd hope it stays that way after Rooney is back.
