Ah. To be fair, it would have been a really long end-credits sequence if they showed every country voting in full.

Are you just wanting a top ten Elab? Or do you want us to go the whole hog & position them all from best to least best (I say this as pleasingly there's no real bad films on the list).

I'm appalled at the lack of Eurovision knowledge!

Scoring is as follows

Each participant chooses their top 10

They cannot choose their own films

The scores are

Top film 12points
2nd film 10
3rd film 8
then down to the 10th film.

At the moment the scores are given with 4-10 in one block then the final 3 given separately. That might be a bit too faffy though

I've PMd the peeps who might not have seen the deadline and I'd like to offer again - anyone who'd like to vote and can promise they've seen all the films is welcome to submit a vote (just like Timbzy might do).

Basically, this for me too. Only I have no idea what time I'm free today to come online and do it. If we can just reveal them at any time through the day then that won't be a problem, if we're all needed at a certain time then I need to pm mine too.

Would you mind PMing them? I guess it was always unrealistic to expect people to be around at the same time, especially this time of year!. I was thinking early evening - unless most people would prefer it earlier?

Yeah I'm not going to be around early evening, so you can anticipate mine arriving shortly.

I think that makes 7 sets of votes for this evening. So it'll be a little later on, put up in the country order from the start of the thread.

As it is traditional, copious amounts of the alcohol of your choice should be consumed. And remember - it's the joint score across both films that will give the country the win.

I won't be around for the unveiling but I'm eager to come back on here tonight and see how it's all turned out.

Fingers crossed for Wallace and Gromit!

I'll be "around", but my head will be buried in books so I'm unlikely to be commenting until the whole thing has been revealed.

It'll be interesting to see the breakdown. I think out of my top ten, only one country had both their films listed.

I'm alive and around the rest of the evening, so if you'd like me to post my own votes on the thread a little later that'll be fine.

Same here, it was really hard to cut the films down to just 10.

For me, there were about 6 films that didn't come close to getting a vote. Then add on the two of my own that couldn't be voted for. So I only had 16 to choose between, and that was a relatively easy narrowing down process. I think I had about 13 contenders for slots in the end.

I shall be finishing off the goats cheese and black pepper popcorn I got I think. We also got mince pie popcorn, but haven't tried that yet.

We should be kicking off around 7pm. Rebel, your votes will come up second last. I'll give you a shout and leave you a gap then if you're around
