Sold. It sounds like the same kind of perverted stuff that Edward Lee writes and I love his work. Now I just have to track down a copy. It seems to be out of print/stock on Amazon but I'm sure I'll find it somewhere. Thanks for the heads up.

 Bumping this because everything went a bit haywire and the deadline got missed. I'm going to set the deadline for all lists as Halloween, hopefully you'll be watching and reading plenty of horror in the run-up.

The Damned Thing (Bierce), The Alter of the Dead (Henry James) and The Monkey's Paw (which I haven't read for years and all I can think about is that Simpsons episode) are the main three.

Are there any others I should check out?
