Wasn't sure about this but this teaser sounds good. Could be a nice film to kick off 2013!

This was the first stage musical I ever saw and have loved it ever since. I can't wait to see this on the big screen :-)

Am literally moist now. When it does well (surely 'if' can't even be considered given its success worldwide as a stage show) could we have a film adaptation of Miss Saigon?

I love it when Anne sings. Gives me goosebumps. God I love that woman.

It's like Wicked all over again; why can't someone do an adaption of the damn novel and not THE FECKING MUSICAL!

What's depressing about singing and dancing!

dgribble - they DID do a book adaption back in 1998 with Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush and Claire Danes. So quit your whining and do some research.
Also, have you never heard a depressing song before?? I'm amazed.

A film adaptation of this musical is long overdue - but definitely worth the wait for these actors. It looks exquisite in all respects, and perfectly-cast. Plus, how can any version be shite when you have Sacha Baron-Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter as the Thénardiers...? Brilliant!
