Well, definitely a humanist ceremony for me. As for how it's celebrated, I'll leave that up to the individual. As long as not everyone is there to mourn and there is still time for a few nostalgic chuckles from the gathered, I'll be happy. Well, I won't really as I'll be dead and therefore incapable of any emotions. No mournful funeral procession, unless it's a New Orleans style affair (and only playing the upbeat jazz they play after the funeral). Really, just get everyone into the room, press the button that drops me in the flames, then have some enjoyable reminiscing and a few jars. As for music, I've a couple of ideas. At the start, I want Elgar's Sospiri played to put people into a suitably reflective mood (if you don't know the piece, google it - it's beautiful). Then end with Eels' "Hey Man, Now You're Really Living".
