I love the Ipad edition of Empire but if you subscribe to it and get the additional interactive features why can`t we download it the same day the subscribers can get their paper copy in the post? We subscribe to the magazine so surely we should get that perk of subscription too?

Wow, you're probably the first person on here to compliment the speediness of subs issues. To answer the question, it's for a variety of reasons (embargoes etc) but mainly because we don't rend to finish it beforehand. Production on the iPad edition really starts after the mag has gone to press so it gets pretty tight.

Subs can be slower but when I got the paper version of Empire it normally came earlier to my door than the shop shelves. I suppose until E Magazines get so popular they make paper ones obsolete their production will take president over E Magazines. I suppose the interactive part takes extra time to do. Total Film are no quicker. Thanks for the quick reply.
