Whilst we're waiting for another mash-up topic, thought I'd post some non-Poster Mash-up stuff I've been playing around with.

Just wondered what might have happened in Gotham City in the 8 years between TDK and TDKR...

I too have been doodling while awaiting a new topic. Would appreciate any tips on how to improve this. Obviously it's Kenny F*@kin Powers of Eastbound and Down fame (just watched Season 3 - fantastic, much better than slightly lame Season 2) and I just had the idea to change the Colonel's logo a bit.

What I really wanted to do is get the same effect as in the actual logo but it's harder than I thought to convert a photo image to a 3-colour block effect...

Anyway, here it is...

Someone with Adobe Illustrator could help you with that Boss. there's a tool that turns photos into vectors that may just do the trick. unfortunately I'm between copies of illustrator at the moment otherwise I would have loved to help out.

Thanks everyone. It means a lot coming from you guys...

zack, scarecrow escapes in the small print of the first Gotham Times.

justin, the casting choices were more a case of pandering the fan forum dream casts, rather than any of my own.

boss, justin is right I'm sure illustrator could do something, but i'm never happy with the results, so I usually just trace each element with the polygon lasso tool, and fill with the relevant colour, but it's a time consuming ball ache to do it that way. Looking good though.

With all the TDKR stuff hitting the web I'm getting really psyched for it now.

Surprised the film's marketing team haven't produced something similar.
Really great work.

Eyuplad, these are fantastic! Would not look out of place in any Nolan viral marketing campaign. Top notch.

Boss, if you're using photoshop, copy your layer of KFP's face and try either using the magic wand selection tool on a colour within each area you want to use (i.e. face, hair, moustache etc), go to select > similar (play around with the tolerance to get the best results) and you'll end up with a layer for each colour - you may have to trim the edges a bit. If that doesn't work try using Image > adjustments > threshold and play around with the sliders to isolate the colours. Then apply a bit of a filter/diffusion/blend to the edges to make them not so pixelated...

Or, import into illustrator and hit the trace button as some of the other guys have said. :)

These are awesome. Wouldn't the Gotham City Post have a sidebar about "Police cry fowl at reports of flying "man" in Metropolis" *lol*

Brilliant work on all these, really great stuff!
