There was one Eurovision song, I don't think I've ever heard the original, but it was an Irish winner in the 80s (I think) Anyway, years and years and years ago Eurotrash did a Eurovision special where they had singers cover winners, and Shane MacGowan covered it. Think it was called What's Another Year. I liked his cover. Were people really surprised Dindlebert Zindledack didn't do well? I've heard mention of anti-UK voting, to me it seemed like anti-shite song voting. It was awful. So dreary, and it seemed to go on forever. I have a kooky idea, why don't Britain pay a good song-writer to come up with their Eurovision entry? They could even put it under a pseudonym if they didn't want their name associated with the competition. I don't watch the contest, but I generally hear our entry at some point, and it seems like we fling any old crap at Europe and then cry about politics when people don't vote for it.
