Wow, never noticed just how much Steve Guttenburg looks like Shia Labeouf (perhaps just that picture). The similarities don't stop there either.

I think he looks like a young Seth Rogen.

Jack Gleeson (Joffrey from Game of Thrones) as the little kid that spots Batman in the narrows in Batman Begins. Also, this is a TV example but Catherine Zeta Jones in The Darling Buds of May.

Doesn't count as it was a main part

(Although, this is just an excuse for me to also break the rules with Kate Winslet and her first role in the 1991 kids show Dark Season)

Wasn't George Clooney in Attack of the Killer Tomatoes? And Colin Farrel started out in Killybashangel.

Clooney was one of the leads if I remember. Not sure about Farrell's role though.

How about Kurt Russell - 'It happened at the World's Fair' where he kicked Elvis in the shins.

Very true, can't really count it as a cameo when she's in the opening credits

What about Kevin Spacey in Working Girl, I'm pretty sure he's only in one short scene near the start.

Erika Eleniak appears in a bit part in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial; she's the girl who gets kissed by Henry Thomas.

Casey Affleck at the start of Chasing Amy, is the guy the douche complaining about Banky only being an inker speaks to. Matt Damon too, to a lesser extent, because I'm not sure how well known he was in 1997.

He had done Courage Under Fire (which was getting him noticed) by then but was just about to become super famous with Good Will Hunting later the same year as Chasing Amy. He also headlined The Rainmaker in between CA and GWH.

I've been watching some 80s movies for my blog and I noticed a dude that seems to have been around for ever and is in everything. His name is Mark Pellegrino and he has quite a career on tv. He was Jacob on Lost and Lucifer on Supernatural but has also appeared in Dexter, NYPD Blue, The X-Files, Prison Break, Criminal Minds, Chuck, Castle...the list goes on. He was also in the movies The Big Lebowski, National Treasure and Lethal Weapon 3. He looks like this-

But let's go all the way back to 1987 and one of his first movie roles as a thug in Fatal Beauty-

He's, clearly, the one in the vest . He was also in Death Wish 4 the same year, carrying on the theme from earlier.

A film released in 1986 but actually filmed in 1983 was Monster In The Closet. It featured Stacey 'Fergie' Ferguson from The Black Eyed Peas-

From the same film but in a bigger role is a young Paul Walker from the Fast and Furious films-

Interesting one this as it was neither a "cameo" in the sense of the word as we understand it now (he was not famous enough at the time to be known by most outside of the UK), nor was it early in his career as he was by then an established actor, BUT...

David Thewlis appears (albeit with NO dialogue and not even a substantial longing close-up) in the extended cut of Alien 3 (he pops up sporadically in the last hour of the film, usually in the company of Clive Mantle) and very very briefly in the background of the theatrical cut. Further interestingly, it is not listed anywhere in his bio or IMDB stats. But it DEFINITELY is him.

And it doesn't actually count as it was a starring role. Clooney's doesn't count either as he was in many season one episodes of Roseanne and he had been in a few films and TV shows before that. Danielle Harris starred in Halloween 4 & 5, The Last Boy Scout and was in Marked For Death before she did Roseanne.

Who is the douche now? Oh, yeah, that would be me
