This is a Bond film - where's the excitement? Why is the trailer cut like a Eastern European drama about poverty and abortion on a farm? The film might be good but whoever cut this trailer should be kicked in the balls.

Why no comments about the music? It sounds like an epic new version of the classic Bond tune, I love it! But I'm biased, I've always loved Bond music, in every form or style.
This might just be the big finish to a great summer for movies. (not of the year, that would be The Hobbit of course)

 I did miss that bit but I was just teasing you with that post, you big softie.

Anyways - Here's hoping this flick is more like Royale and less like Quantum. Personally speaking I think Craig was the shot in the arm that Bond needed, but Pond of Wood was just not a good movie and brought the franchise down a few pegs.

The elegance of the trailer, especially when some dude is falling down the side of the shanghai building is mesmerising. The cinematography is top notch.
The Dubsteppy music malarkey was incredible too. If this is shit, it will be such a let down.
P.S It seems fashionable to hate QoS, it really wasn't that bad!

Looks great - great music too. Maybe it'll be a great thriller in the vein of OHMSS (but with a better actor this time! Also noticed the old Aston Martin (from Goldfinger) makes a return. Cool.

it looks spot on but play the bloody bond music in the movie from time to time. Who in the name of santas pants thinks its clever to not play it- CR only at end, QOS a slight tease. It is likley the greatest theme of all time- just play the damn thing during fights and shit, we are past all that "arent we cool we dont actually play the bond theme" shite. mercy me. rant over!!!!

same goes for TWINE i meant it seems to be taking the elements of those 2 Bonds and (hopefully) doing something amazing with them (Inception Bond)

Shocked by this reaction.

Where is the Bourne stuff, or are you just using it as lazy shorthand? The film seems to be shot (and by the by it looks wonderfully shot) in a classical style, in stark contrast to Bournes free form, handheld style.

Not sure why Craig being older is a problem? Should we go for a 20 something Bond?

Looks ..... like a teaser. A few glimpses of the action sequences look interesting but it's way too vague to make a reasonable guess. Good to see the Aston Martin back I guess.

but i agree 100% with those that need to hear the Bond theme during the movie. It is an integral part of the movies and should not be side lined by some shite 'modern' version. They tried that with one of the Brosnan ones (think it was by Moby but I am probably wrong) and it was... HORRIBLE.
I just hope to god that this is as good a movie as all us Bond fans want it to be. I for one will be there, a very nice late birthday present indeed in chilly October (just missed out by one day, dammit!)

It's more of a rumbling low bass horn in Inception but I get you. I failed to notice the prior posts, yours is always more entertaining .
