Michel Faber's novel was extraordinary (read that for more info on the film!) so I have high hopes for this!

no doubt they'll fuck it up by turning it into another average horror movie.

This must be based on the novel as he's down as a writer on IMDB. So this is likely to be more of a horror movie with a lot of driving than a road movie - though I see Scarlett Johanssen is down on IMDB as "Laura" rather than Isserley, the character's name in the book. At any rate, I'll be front and centre for this when it comes out, as the book is astonishing though deeply disturbing.

She was filming outside my house . Didn't see her though, it was a nightmare getting out of the house as there were so many crew members and security and loads of wires. Guys were still hanging about at midnight when filming had ended hours earlier.

First reaction is she looks too pretty and her eyes are WAAAAYY too small. I'm guessing this going to take rather large liberties with the original story. Was looking forward to this, now fairly concerned. Still, excellent actress and excellent director. We live in hope...

Glazer making a welcome return, great to see him doing something that appears genuinely interesting and unpredictable.
I'm very curious to see how particular film unfolds.
By the sounds of it the books is something I may check out before the film.
The still looks great, if that's an established aesthetic for the film then this bodes well in my opinion.
