Your name reminds me - The Great Joe Pantoliano in the sublimely wonderful Midnight Run. Indeed, "Joey Pants" in just about everything he's ever been in from The Matrix to The Sopranos.

JE Freeman plays a lot of dicks too - from Wild At Heart through Barton Fink to Alien: Resurrection.

And how could I forget Murray Hamilton as Mayor Vaughn in Jaws. A spin doctor before the term was even coined, he deserves a statue in the Assh*le Hall of Shamelessness for this truly awe-inspiring piece of wilful prevarication:

I'm pleased and happy to repeat the news that we have, in fact, caught and killed a large [INFINITESIMAL PAUSE] predator that supposedly injured some bathers. But, as you see, it's a beautiful day, the beaches are open and people are having a wonderful time. Amity, as you know, means "friendship".

Not "a frickin great big shark which ate some bathers." No "a large predator that supposedly injured some bathers." What an assh*le! The assh*le's assh*le, in fact. We are not worthy.

All the evil yuppie scumbags in Robocop are corporate assh*les of the first rank. One of them, the deputy assh*le-in-chief, is even called Dick. But special mention has to go to Miguel Ferrer's supremely slimey and charmless Bob Morton. When Clarence "Cops don't like me!" Boedicker frags Bob it's gotta be one of THE great punch-the-air moments in all of cinema. I'd like to see the forthcoming pointless remake top that! (Bet it doesn't have a secondary corporate villain snorting chico off a hooker's ample bossom either - I'd buy that for a dollar!)
