besides the fact that the title reflects the original comics, it really is great for a movie. When the film gets new trailers and reviews, they'll be headlined "Latest AMAZING Spider-man trailer!" and "AMAZING Spider-man review!". Obviously, everybody loves the film.

Ok, now I'm interested in this film. A much better trailer than previous ones. Still not keen on Andrew Garfield though, you know when someone just rubs you up the wrong way? Can't explain or justify it at all.

That actually looks really great. Doesn't look like the same origin story we've all seen before. The cast is magnificent and, thankfully, Gwen knows Peter's secret - so we don't have the same storyline of him loving her but not telling her etc.

Definitely seeing this now. The reason why is the awesome ensemble cast and the fact that Garfield's physicality looks genuinely spidery. All twitchy and even a little creepy. Nice. I don't care about the snout because I'm not a moron ... agree with Webb that it's more important to capture Ifans' performance. Otherwise what's the point of hiring such a good actor in the first place?

Still not 100% about the reboot idea so soon, but this does look great. You know what a great week this has been for trailers when this is only the 3rd best to land

Pretty good looking trailer but like others have said, they should have kept the longer snout. I would have loved the Todd Macfarlane drawn Lizard . Still not that keen on seeing this. The Avengers has set the benchmark very high.

but I hope this thing is at least half as good as the trailer. And there'd better be some 2D showings as well. The Avengers didn't/doesn't need 3D to be enjoyed. Must say that Garfield seems like an annoying pratt - which isn't how I remember puny Peter Parker. This is obviously the Ultimates inspired take on the web slinger....which won't be to everyone's taste......

Really looking forward to this.. Garfield seems to have nailed the fun side of Spiderman something Maguire's didn't really have for me. I didn't watch the whole trailer because it was showing some really good stuff and I don't want to know too much, pretty much clicked stop as soon as they started talking about his dad

...is it me or does Garfield come across a bit of a c*nt in this? I don't like the editing, it doesn't feel like a movie, more a TV show - which is possibly the genre the new Spidey may be suited to?

Once again it's an English villain! why? I know Rhys Ifans is actually Welsh but why do Hollywood action movies seem to endlessly fall into the same xenophobic trap? And YES... I am also aware that Garfield is an Englishman but isn't it about time the big budget blockbuster American movie industry stopped being so narrow-minded and, oooh I dunno, HAVE AN AMERICAN AS THE BAD GUY FOR A CHANGE!

Huge Spidey fan and not averse to this. I respect the fact its a different takeand i hate being negative. That said... i honestly in years of reading comicsi never thought "i wonder what Peter parkers folks were like". I have no interest in that family backstory....seems tacked on to me.
