Is it really a vote whore round if it's essentially nullified by 12 vote whore entries? Then the non-vote whore, were there to be one, would essentially be the odd one out and possible focus therefore, by definition, the anti-vote-whore.

Perfect vote whore round - 10 people to take on the, say, Sight and Sound top 10 and champion them and maybe one or two raising a film to challenge them and undermine the list entirely

Tactics suggest you wait to see who's taking part, you then check any lists they've posted, and then you choose the highest entry that appears on the majority of the lists.

This is the scientific approach.

(Which means you should look veeerrrrry suspiciously at anyone who has had access to the top 1000 poll submissions......)

 I love the fact that we're actually debating if a nomination is whorey enough. At the moment, I think there's four films that could easily take it. And they're on equal levels of ridiculousness.

 I'd be up for a short term spot if there's still room. Gutted I wasn't able to participate in the Noir round so I'd like to give it a bash if possible (and following that, I'd like to participate in the HOF, fnarr).
