I know I couldnt believe that one, whats that our first win in about 18 month is it? Against the Aussies at home too! Mind you I think we still have to play them another twice in which we'll probably get pummelled for having the gall to beat them in their own backyard...

I didn't care about the Jubilee. I watched snippets of the concert but that's it. I don't hate the Royal family either, actually. I don't care about them but I don't hate them. I'm just- 'meh'- about them.

watched some boats for about 30 seconds and kylie for 5 mins and that was about it...who the wants to see cliff richard, elton john, etc these days ?? as for the royals i dont hate them either but come on who needs a royal family ? its not the 13th century anymore....we should just put everything of theirs up on ebay.

I generally support England when Scotland aren't involved. I have had many arguments about it, the last one ended in trouble. I don't argue about it anymore

. That said, I've sunk some cash on a punt on France for the tournament, so I will be hoping they beat England.

the thing about england in the euros is this...if they do shit we'll never hear the end of it and if they win we'll never hear the end of it. Its a lose lose situation, i just hope they dont go out on penalties as I am SICK of hearing about them losing on fucking penalties....in fact Fuck it I hope they go out in the first round. fuckem!!

I think this is quite an open tournament. Spain are clearly the awesomest on paper but they've been playing for donkeys, touring round the world and stuff. I reckon it might all catch up to them.

I generally always support Germany, I support Scotland of course, but we know we'll get humped in the first round. Am not really into the whole ABE thing, just always seems a wee bit petty, but I secretly always hope they don't win - mainly for the fact we will never hear the end of it.

My hubby had a thing for Catriona Shearer for a while, but when he found out she writes for the new Scottish Scum he went right off her, stopped stalking//// sorry, following her on Twitter. Principles I never knew he had. He also had a thing for Cat Cubie, the wee blonde one, though she's not been on for a while. Probably out looking for more 'out there' clothes. That girl has a wacky sense of style, I'll give her that. My favourite is Stav Danaos.

I was up in Aberdeen for the weekend staying with family, didn't really see much of the city (actually none of it), but did see round Cults and then the Falls of Feuch. Lovely part of the country, but I have to admit being a bit surprised at seeing how much granite (especially new granite) looks surprisingly like breeze block concrete!

Cat Cubie has a column in our local Evening Express. Took the wee lass over to the museum in Edinburgh. Got there at half 4 and it closed at 5 - D'oh! That half hour was good though, then we went for a wander about. Got some free Millie's cookies and stuck her on the bungee/trampoline thing at the top of Waverley. It was totally rammed over there but a good atmosphere.

The point of this? Errm, get to the museum earlier. It looks great and it's free to get in. Looking forward to going over another day to spend some time in there.
