Daredevil is a BRILLIANT comics character that hasn't yet had the film he deserves. If all you know is the Affleck film than I can see why you'd think that, but if you know the comics this is proper good news.

I cant think of a better character to be rebooted. Daredevil was ok, it had some nice ideas but a lot of it was woeful, yes i'm looking at you colin farrel. Its the perfect property to create a Nolanesque universe with, dark serious with one foot in reality.

Daredevil is by far my favourite comic book character of all time. The Movie, as Empire states was actually alright, though I wasn't convinced by various cast members - other than Affleck who was the right actor. WIth the new film though I'm not certain the Miller story is necessarily the best to use and as for Nuke being the villain I think they could use better characters. Also though it won't happen, its a pity various characters particularly Black Widow and Spider-Man who make frequent crossovers in the DD comics, won't be able to appear in the films due to studio rights. But hey, with the right cast and director (and one hell of a better music supervisor) bring on the new Daredevil!

way better than the shite-fest from the same author which was The Dark Knight.
The Daredevil movie is fukkin' brilliant. It's the best of all Marvel's movies, and that's saying something considering the great stuff done so far.
Ben Affleck was pitch perfect bringing the pain, and Colin Farrell brought the spice: "more peanuts!" Classic stuff.

I agree with the original article, Daredevil was a very good comic book movie, especially the directors cut. It was lambasted at the time of release, but that was because of the whole "Benifer" thing at the time.

Honestly people, revisit this movie and look at it with a clear sense of perspective, you may be surprised.

I'm looking forward to Reborn, if it is developed in the right way with a suitable actor to fill the costume.

How about Timothy Olyphant as Matt Murdock/Daredevil?
