We've been asked for the deadline to be pushed back, no idea quite how long, but likely to be around next weekend.

Still one to go, watched Double Indemnity at the weekend though.

****SPOILERS****
I thought it was very good, but did anyone else think that Walter was just far too easily swayed? To me it just seemed that his decision to go along with killing the husband came out of nowhere, one minute he's against it, then the next he's like, 'ah, why the fuck not, tis only murder'.

Aye, but he might of got a ride out of it. The prospect of a piece of trim does strange things to a mans morals

I can't think bad things about the Welsh because I'm partly Welsh myself.

Can I blame the Scottish instead?

The Asphalt Jungle (Huston, 1950) - Stonking film.
Blue Velvet (Lynch, 1985) - faltered first time I watched it, genuine classic now.
Cutter's Way (Passer, 1981) - well. It was better than My Winnipeg.
Double Indemnity (Wilder, 1944) - Doesn't get much better than this.
In a Lonely Place (Ray, 1950) - Yeah, it was pretty good.
The Killing (Kubrick, 1956) - This should win.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Black, 2005) - Modern classic right here.
Laura (Preminger, 1944) - Yeah, pretty good, but didn't knock me out.
The Long Goodbye (Altman, 1973) - Not one for me.
Murder, My Sweet (Dmytryk, 1944) - I really enjoyed this. Classic noir.
Touch of Evil (Welles, 1958) - Heston is the most convincing Mexican. Ever.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (Zemeckis, 1988) - childhood classic - a great introduction to the genre for kids.

Lemme just tot up my order and I'll ping an email across.

Sorry for the delay guys.

Homer doesn't have the good taste required to be Welsh.

Don't you like Forrest Gump? Because you can't usually win an argument by saying "You like X so your taste is shit." but with Forrest Gump it's an instant victory.

Regardless of whether Homer has been cursed with the affliction of being Welsh, he lives within poking distance of the two people we're waiting on.

So he should poke them to get a wriggle on.

They're not Welsh either. Although I am seeing more value in the sitcom idea you suggested.

Arguably one of those was my fault, cos we watched one together last night, and I was texted the other week to be asked how I was getting on. I asked when the deadline was and he said, "tomorrow". I was like, shit. I may have forgotten I was doing this......

Anyway, all done now!
