I've tried my hand at designing some posters for the new Bond film, Skyfall. I would like the opinions the posters who contribute to the Movie Poster Mash-ups, including those who contributed to the fabulous Raven poster competition. I will post a couple here and also link to my Tumblr page, which includes other recent attempts...

I hope this thread is allowed here.

Hello JCRendle! Empire Editor 2007? Actually? Cause I thought that was Mark Dinning..

You'll probably see from the Raven posters that minimalism is my preference, so you're on a winner in that instance. But, and this is just my opinion others may differ, and no way intended to be harsh, I'm not sure I really get what you're trying to show in some of them...the first seems like an anniversary poster to commemorate all Bond films not just Skyfall. The second, I get the significance of the flag, just not the coffin shape. The third is actually quite good thematically, and the style seems great, possibly just wants a little more work in photoshop. Is the final poster an image from Skyfall or another Daniel Craig film? Hope that helps, and again no intention to be harsh, just offering an opinion.

Thanks for the feedback, (I cant remember why it says the "Empire Editor" part, must have asked for it all those years ago), the ideas behind the posters are a feeling of foreboding, which is what I have got from the bits and pieces I have heard.

he's in the sky and he's falling - how more literal can you be ... and not a gun barrel to be seen anywhere too?
