Ok so I played through the first few missions and really got into it. There isn't much hand holding in this game it pretty much sends you on your way and leaves you to it. Blink is ace! I was zapping around like a madman. I'm trying to play as stealthly as possible. So far so good...

Great game. If you love Splinter Cell you should play it.

One thing that really bugged me about this game - I played through the first assassination mission stealthy. making sure to only render unconscious any enemies. I didnt actually kill anyone, I used a combo of sleep darts and choke holds. As soon as the misson was over I was presented with the stats screen declaring I had killed 27 people!?!?

Sweet jesus I must have blacked out again....

Splinter Cell isn't the game that I'd most compare it to. I'd liken it to more of a cross between Thief, Deus Ex and Bioshock, myself.

What the hell? Admittedly I haven't played it as much as I'd like to, but I've never had that. Seems like a bug to me. Have you installed the latest patches? It may have been fixed by one.

There was an update when I purchased the game - Live auto-updates so I have the latest patch.

Just random as I was going for the cheevie for completing a mission without killing anyone. I have heard Flipper mention he had to be careful putting people down after you choke/pick them up?!

So far so good but the lack of a map doesn't sit well with me.

This game rocks i'm really, really enjoying it. I love how many different ways you have of killing (or not killing) a mark. I'd say it's a cross between Half Life 2/Bioshock & a little bit of Batman.
Highly recommended & i haven't even finished it yet.

Well that was a dissapointing ending, regardless it's a cracking game & highly recommended.

Yeah the ending was a disappointment, though I have only played it through once being a heartless savage!

Tidying up on some achievements then I'll go back to it and play it through as an angel.

I also thought it was a cross between Fable, Assassin's Creed and Thief which is no bad thing!

Yep agreed but never played Thief before but have heard it mentioned in reviews.

I loved the Thief series, great thoughtful gameplay and back at a time when graphics weren't that great, the soundscape in those games (and others like System Shock by the same studio) was sensational. Can't wait for Thief 4 next year.

The high chaos ending is better than the low chaos ending, that is all.

I picked this up on the last Steam sale and just finished it the other day

It's a beautifully designed game and Dunwall is a fantastic setting, but it is just so easy, to the point where it wasn't enjoyable. There was no sense of achievement or accomplishment throughout the game, and every level basically became 'Blink Blink Blink, Stab, Blink Done'

Granted I say this as a fan of the Thief series, and few games have done stealth gameplay as well as those did

I completed it on that last night, now to try and sneak my way thru the whole thing and not kill a single thing.

Finsihed it today, the final harms way trophy was hard to get, and yes the high chaos ending is better.

Good game but the fact that enemies spot you even the deepest shadows is ratwank.

Be sure to turn off the dumb objective marker for a mch better experience.

Def no Thief killer.

Way better than I expected to be honest, and I haven't got the high chaos ending yet.

My brother got me a bundle of PS3 games for Christmas and just flicked this on last night. Only one level in but loving it.
