 Does that mean Matthew Vaughn would have time to shoot Kick-Ass 2 really quick? (Last I heard, the script was as good as done). It might be difficult to get the cast on such short notice, but given the fact that Chloe Grace Moretz is not getting any younger, they're on a little bit of a hurry anyway. And as much as I liked First Class, I'm looking forward to a Vaughn-directed Kick-Ass 2 more than another entry in the mutant saga.

RE Kick-ass 2. I hope it happens - it's supposed to shoot this summer. Chloe Moretz said she wants to do it, and surely Aaron Johnson is signed on for the sequels. Vaughn has said, It's doubtful he'll be back, so we'll have to wait and see.

As for X-men. Hell yeah! The first one was great so more of the same please (with a little extra Jennifer Lawrence.)

Likely to be rubbish, if the comics are anything to go by. Quite disappointing as the first one was so good.

I hope they don't permanently cast wooden, ostenatious, apathetical, unplausible performer January Jones, and get someone like Miss Ali Larter for the role, who is the identikit clone of the marvel character and who would give a more plausible, dramaturgical, emotive performance as well as having sexy mannerism and affectations like the character. You can check Ali Larter's protrayal of Emma Frost on youtube by simply typing Ali Larter Emma Frost in the search bar and watch the videos. Also Ali Larter photoshooted herself on Esquire Magazine were she poses in sexy lacy lingerie and bras, by simply typing Ali Larter Esquire Magazine into the google search bar and check all the safe websites list with the photoshoots, if that doesn't convince you, of what would possibly be her protrayal of the sassiness and the cold sexy sultriness of the marvel character, then I don't know what will. Anyone with antithetic views is either myopically blind to see this or has a psychochemical neuron inhibited from part of their brain that deals with facial recognition and distinguishment.

 While he undoubtedly helped shape FIRST CLASS into something nearly approaching a good film, it's a pity that Vaughn would waste his time in Fox's X-MEN playground with this sequel. The characters have no where interesting left to go (Eric is evil, and Professor X is a cripple), and Vaughn is too talented to keep spinning his wheels on something so creatively bankrupt.

I'm looking forward to the First Class sequel more than Catching Fire - and that's something I never thought I'd say. I'm not a fan of the X-Men series at all, First Class is the only one I really liked.

 Only Proffessor X, Magneto, Beast & (Darwin?) would be from the original timeline with Havok appearing slightly later.

No it isnt.Matt Vaughn and Bryan Singer led us to beleive it was a prequel, but the film has too many inconsistencies and contradictions to the original trilogy that it can only be seen as an alternative timeline or reboot.
