Surprised there's no thread for her already. A very talented young woman and with The Hunger Games going ballistic sure to be A List very soon.

She's brilliant in Winter's Bone and the aforementioned HG. She's always very watchable and makes an impression in smaller roles in films like X Men, The Beaver and Like Crazy.

Looking forward to what she does next.

I like that picture of her. Yeah, I can't really add much to what you've already written. A very talented actress and she's so down to earth (watch some of her talk show interviews on youtube - she's hilarious.)

Iv only seen her play Mystique in X Men First Class where her role was quite embarassing and she had to say that awful line '' Mutant and proud! '' mutiple times but she seems decent enough.

You don't actually have to post anymore, Cool Breeze, we'll just imagine slights on X-Men First Class/Daniel Craig/etc and throw in random big ups of the Star Wars prequels shoehorned into any and every thread possible.

I love her. She's not only smokin' hot, she's a brilliant actress too.

House At The End Of The Street might be decent: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1582507/. Hopefully more than just a generic thriller, but who knows.

I agree she's a good actress, great in Winter's Bone. With the success of The Hunger Games it looks like she will be sticking around for quite some time.

Good news for fans. It was announced today that she'll be filming First Class 2 (X-men) early next year and Catching Fire in Autumn (2013) for a November release.

When did I say anything I said contradicted what I think? I was just mentioning that you know...you do have about 4 topics that you like to speak about and its all a bit one note. When I read your post I literally thought "of COURSE he's thrown it back to X-Men!"

This thread is about Jennifer Lawrence. She was in X Men First Class. Its the only movie iv seen her in.Naturally its going to come up.And to say i only talk about 4 topics and is all a bit one note is not only untrue, its a very insulting and childish thing to say.So quit with the trolling and stay on topic ok?

That's fine except you didn't have anything to add except yet another boring dig at X-Men first class. You didn't have to post you know.

Actually i did add something relevant to this thread. That Jennifer Lawrence was good in X Men First Class despite it being a poor role in a poor film. You just seem to have a problem with that opinion.Tough.Just quit the trolling and contribute to the topic at hand.

Jeez can we just draw a line under the petty bickering?

Just watched The Poker House a rather grim little film apparently based on Lori Petty's life., which going by the movie was pretty horrible.  It's decent enough but something in it doesn't ring true.

It's the performances that make the film. Lawrence is great in the lead role .Tough, smart, funny yet vulnerable she's never less that totally watchable. She also gets great support from Sophia Bairley as the elder of her little sisters and Chloe Moretz as the youngest sister - also showing star potential. It's worth checking out even if you have to go through *cough* unofficial channels.

Meanwhile let's just try to get on shall we?

She was well good in Winter's Bone. Might try to see The Hunger Games this week.

We was excellent in the excellent X-Men: First Class, bringing a depth to Mystique that wasn't there when portrayed by the supermodel one.

Do you form some sort of symbiotic relationship with Jennifer Lawrence?

If so can you PM me info on how to achieve this?

Rebecca Romijn looked the part though. Jennifer Lawrence's face is too round for Mystique, it looked weird at times.

Into a crumble? I couldn't resist.

Back on-topic, before I'm accused of being a Frank Warren (not to be confused with Hadden, the rather forgettable and sheyt former Scottish rugby union coach [sic]). Yes Miss Lawrence is rather lovely and I've yet to see her in Winter's Bone, but Hunger Games looks passably entertaining and I did quite like her in X-Men: First Class. What was she doing in Edinburgh in that photo? Being chilled to a winter's bone I'd think.

You can start by buying her films. If you want me to P.M you instructions, just let me know.

I hate these edits. Just noticed something comical. Go to http://www.skins.be/# and you'll get an interesting pop-up (both involuntarily). Makes me wonder what Scruffybobby does with his time...explains the dischevelled appearance.

I'm guessing she was there for the Winter's Bone premiere at the Edinburgh Film Fest. Annoyingly I was considering going to see it but I chose not to. Could have met her! I think there might have been something else on at the same time. I also missed on on Let The Right One In in that way.

Curses! You've found me out. In my defence though that site is a good source of wallpaper pics. I don't get bothered by popups on it because of my ad blocker. I tend to forget you get dodgy ads on it.

Hoooow's this relevant here again? I never said Breeze shouldn't comment on stuff he doesn't like, was just saying that we know those four things he doesn't like cos he goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about them.
