 Surprised there's no thread for her already. A very talented young woman and with The Hunger Games going ballistic sure to be A List very soon.

She's brilliant in Winter's Bone and the aforementioned HG. She's always very watchable and makes an impression in smaller roles in films like X Men, The Beaver and Like Crazy.



Looking forward to what she does next.

I like that picture of her. Yeah, I can't really add much to what you've already written. A very talented actress and she's so down to earth (watch some of her talk show interviews on youtube - she's hilarious.)

 Iv only seen her play Mystique in X Men First Class where her role was quite embarassing and she had to say that awful line '' Mutant and proud! '' mutiple times but she seems decent enough.

I love her. She's not only smokin' hot, she's a brilliant actress too.

 I agree she's a good actress, great in Winter's Bone. With the success of The Hunger Games it looks like she will be sticking around for quite some time.

Good news for fans. It was announced today that she'll be filming First Class 2 (X-men) early next year and Catching Fire in Autumn (2013) for a November release.

 Jeez can we just draw a line under the petty bickering?

Just watched The Poker House a rather grim little film apparently based on Lori Petty's life., which going by the movie was pretty horrible.  It's decent enough but something in it doesn't ring true.

It's the performances that make the film. Lawrence is great in the lead role .Tough, smart, funny yet vulnerable she's never less that totally watchable. She also gets great support from Sophia Bairley as the elder of her little sisters and Chloe Moretz as the youngest sister - also showing star potential. It's worth checking out even if you have to go through *cough* unofficial channels.

Meanwhile let's just try to get on shall we?

Rebecca Romijn looked the part though. Jennifer Lawrence's face is too round for Mystique, it looked weird at times.

Yes Miss Lawrence is rather lovely and I've yet to see her in Winter's Bone, but Hunger Games looks passably entertaining and I did quite like her in X-Men: First Class. I'm guessing she was there for the Winter's Bone premiere at the Edinburgh Film Fest. Annoyingly I was considering going to see it but I chose not to. Could have met her! I think there might have been something else on at the same time. I also missed on on Let The Right One In in that way.

Curses! You've found me out. In my defence though that site is a good source of wallpaper pics. I don't get bothered by popups on it because of my ad blocker. I tend to forget you get dodgy ads on it.
