Actually surprised at how good the trailer is.

Did anyone else get a "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" vibe off the whole look and feel of the film?

That was the first thought I had. "Someone played through HENGSHA!"

Worst places to pull from, as far as future imagery goes. HENGSHA was one of the most stunning environments I've seen in science fiction.

The mechs also looked extremely similar to the ones in the mass effect series

How utterly shite does this look?
No Arnie
No Paul Verhoeven
No Sharon Stone
No Michael Ironside
No Ronnie Cox
No Mars
No Jerry Goldsmith score (which fucking rocks)
No hilariously OTT ultraviolence
No hooker with three tits (I'll be amazed if there will be in the movie)
The only thing they kept is the title font!

No Arnie, no Michael Ironside and no friggin' hard R-rating plus too much CGI equal bland mediocrity.

Come on: it looks a lot better than I thought it would. Farrell looks decent, alright FX and the dynamic duo of Beckinsale AND Biel! It was never going to be like the original and it looks exaclt ylike other recent films, Could be solid fun though.

Anyone else notice the blatant Bourne rip off? Hands on head away from police (same camera angle) and then suddenly disposes of multiple enemies. At least try a different approach!

I'd be surprised if the film doesn't follow suit.

Of course we all know that a trailer is truly representative of the overall quality of the film it's advertising.

Jesus wept.

Colin Farrel
Kate Beckinsale
Jessica Biel
and
Bryan Cranston.

Whats the betting Bryan Cranston will be the only person coming out of this film with any dignity.

Farrel is an awesome actor. Sadly Len Wiseman is not an awesome director.

He's an above average actor in a very average cast, bar Cranston.
I dont think i've seen any Wiseman films to judge.

I'm going to go against the grain here and actually give a film which I haven't seen yet...a chance.

From the trailer I think it looks like a pretty decent actioner. Shame they've outed the 'wife' charatcer though.

Farrell is the only real draw in this for me at the moment, Beckinsale and Beil, sure they are pretty but have never really convinced and I've never found them engaging or interesting in any role I've seen. Wiseman, well, say no more. I was hoping the trailer might stoke some interest for me but although having a few interesting money shots it was very poorly put together.

Hopefully a second trailer will redeem it or I'll be waiting a while and watch this at home.

Anyone who was in The New World, killed me with laughter and also made me sympathize with in In Bruges and held an entire film on his own by being stuck in a phonebooth is a-ok in my book.

(also, you didn't see Underworld, you live in a good world)

Just wondering if that's the old Nick Fury flying car they're using.
