Loved the boss battles, especially Dumah when you find him chained to his throne. I would even be happy just to have a few HD remakes rather than a reboot.

I read this was rumoured earlier. I guess it was more than that. Most welcome. I never played the PS2 version, but the original was pretty awesome.

I'd love to see a new version of Soul Reaver - I played Soul Reaver 2 and it was great, had a super dark melancholy feel to it.

That's the one I played!!! I was thinking of the killer intro as well with that synth music. What happened in Soul Reaver 2 that must have been the one I missed.

The second one wasn't as good as the first in my opinion, it was shorter, no boss battles, an awful lot of cutscenes, and even the

minor enemies were easier as you could just beat the hell outta them, instead of impaling/burning with sunlight/igniting with fire/

them.... and yet it was still very good. I would love the whole blood omen saga to be released for xbla or something.

Weren't they all prefixed or suffixed Legacy of Kain though? The first in Raziel's story was Soul Reaver no?

I only played bits of Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and watched my brother play most of it.

I can't remember how the series ended but I'd prefer a new game focusing on Kain. He was the much more intereting character. There can't be an Elder God in it now that Tony Jay and that voice are gone.

It was a classy series and Soul Reaver was a stand out piece of gaming in its time. Great music, art direction, voice acting, graphics, design, just awesome and that intro is still ball bustingly great!
