Noticed you're a DJ so I'll have to up my game a bit, although the Florence & the Machine pic in your avatar has somewhat eased my fears of having to dig very deep.

Any preferences yourself? I might do what Frankie used to do (a guy who used to be around these boards) & create a continuous track, with lots of other weird shit going on between tunes.


Very much the kind of DJ who plays (often terrible) music for other people at Weddings and Party's and around all of the good time, happy pubs and clubs of Dundee, Perth & Fife in return for money. I do pretty much love and enjoy all music ever made though, apart from Adele & Ed Sheeran. Stangely enough, I also hate Barry White.

As for Florence, I love her, lots. Generally I'm a big fan of the Gingers (again, apart from Ed Sheeran).

You can pretty much put anything you like on the CD. It takes alot of effort to find something I don't like

Hell, that's a helluva lot better than my current form of employment. At least you get to make people smile for a living (unless you're sound-tracking the happy couples first waltz to 'new dawn fades' ).

Just a heads-up bud, it's going to be a continuous 1 track affair in the form of an MP3, lasting approximately 2 hours - so skipping through the individual tracks wont be so easy.

It has turned up a couple of days ago safe and sound. One look at the playlist got me excited as I've been meaning to listen to John Fahey for a long time. I'll give it a good listen over the coming days.

I'm sure it will!

Literally just posted it to you a few minutes ago, so depending on how shit hot Royal Mail are it'll be with you either tomorrow or Thursday.

As mentioned before it's 1 continuous track; clocking in at exactly 2 hours, 8 minutes & 21 seconds.

To be honest, I didn't really "mix" it; just stuck one song on after another with next to no gaps between them. I did it on Adobe Premiere, which is not exactly the greatest for audio editing.

The format's also on a MP3 CD, so whenever you get it just put it onto a computer then stick the MP3 wherever. It's just shy of 300MB.

There's about 28 different songs on it, most of which you'll have heard...probably...maybe?

I'll refrain from posting a track list at the moment, I'd like things to be a surprise (hopefully a nice one) & see how many of the tracks you know.

 I don't know what the problem is If I am honest. I didn't set a password on the file when I did it and have just tried downloading it myself and there wasn't a password my end... I'm just trying to upload it to a different site now to see if that works better. I'll email you the link when it's uploaded in a few minutes.

EDIT - Whilst I didn't put a password on it I don't know if it was automatically made with one and I have selected that the file be made public since then (It didn't tell me if it was already or not, and that option is still available so I really don't know) and turned off any password protection that was on it. I assume that means it needs to be downloaded again, but I hope it would work this time having done all that...
