MGS 3 is my favourite and I enjoyed PW. The story of Big Boss' transformation from hero to villain has slowly been unfolding really well. The ending of 3 (Spoiler) where you pull the trigger and kill the original Boss in that flowery field was probably my most memorable Metal Gear moment so far. PW seemed like it could have been the straw that broke the camels back and pushed BB over the edge.

When you're playing a series that deals with Vampires (almost), Telekinesis and Giant robots are you really that surprised about the stuff in PW? I'm glad they are filling in the blanks between PW and MGS 4.

I think I'll pick up the HD collection just for Peace Walker so I can fill in the blanks. I must say that this new MGS looks much better than Metal Gear Rising.

Yeah, the ending of MGS3 was great. Still, MGS1 has the most standout moments for me: Meryl's shooting, the 'bad' ending (much better IMO), the weight limit buzzer going off in the elevator and the final fight are all brilliant. MGS4's best moment for me is where we go back to Shadow Moses, a testament to how brilliant the MGS1 was for its day.

Amazing MG moment.

I'm confused is this Ground Zeroes again or something else? Why reveal it without a real name, and so soon after the last trailer?

Supposedly MGS5, which Ground Zeroes is a prequel to.

That Ground Zeroes gameplay footage looks seriously good. I thought it was next-gen at first.

It's pure speculation. Clearly Metal Gear related though.

Yeah its possible, but studios just dont develop big budget titles like this in tandem, that is my point. I wish they weren't being so weird and cryptic.

I've been following the whole TPP / Ground Zeroes thing for ages; I'm glad he's finally announced it today. The new trailer is fantastic, and it looks as though, as many speculated, the 'grey haired Big Boss/dark haired Big Boss' thing isn't down to lighting as Kojima claimed, but possibly represents Big Boss pre and post coma.

I can't wait for this, HOWEVER... if David Hayter doesn't return to voice Big Boss, the only way I'd accept that is if there was a new Solid Snake title incoming whereby it would cause an issue with new fans to the series. David Hayter is perfect as both Snake incarnations; his voice lends itself to gravitas and humour - I'm just hoping TPP / Ground Zeroes doesn't take itself too seriously.

My most anticipated game, period.
