Slightly off-topic, but can I ask if Damien Lewis is still getting paid for being in HOMELAND? I mean, we're six episodes in, his name is still on the opening credits but he's doing f-all...

If so... cushiest job ever...

He more than made up for it this week, amazing performance.

This show is fucking rubbish now. I was even starting to hope Dana came back last night. I mean, Saul's wife? Why do we give a fuck?
And she's now been shagging the real bomber I suppose? She honestly thought some young good looking mid-40's bloke would fall for a woman who's face looks like Gandhis' flip flop left in the sun?
Utter cack.

I certainly wouldn't say the show was cack. Quinn shooting Carrie? And lets face it, she's gonna lose the baby... wonder what that will do with her relationship with Quinn..?

And as for Sauls wife... well, I would. Bit of a 'Wills Mum in The Inbetweeners' thing right there...

I'll stick with it, only a couple more episodes to go, it's on thin ice with me, but then again so was series 2 and they did a blinder with that last episode...

I think you mean 'dusty', because no one apart from you and Saul would touch her with somebody else's

Hmmm, someone thinks that women should never age after 25 and it is a mortal sin if anything droops, even a single inch...

For the record, we ARE joking around, aren't we? If you think that Sauls wife is such a dreadful thing, I'm worried about you...

Forgive me, I genuinely can't tell these days...

There's nothing wrong with a bit of milf, but seriously. She looks like Tommy Cooper in a wig. The female version of Robert Downey Junior in Tropic Thunder.
She obviously likes a bit of tail, and acts a bit sultry, but you've got to set your standards higher than that Mister Coe.

Fair enough, it wasn't quite cack, but it's certainly not hitting any heights is it? Quinn shooting Carrie was vaguely exciting, but again, I set my standards higher than you it seems

I'm a big fan of...the more mature woman. But Saul's wife - nah. She DOES look like a bloke in drag.

In fact, she looks a little bit like Jerry Sadowitz.

I give up! I'd shag Sauls wife! Is that a crime? Apparently so...

We all have odd tastes. Some people find the likes of Katie Price attractive. I'd rather shove my dick in a hole in a shed.

Anyway, back to HOMELAND and... ummm...

Sorry, I was thinking about the shed.

So this is the level Homeland has brought us all down to, arguing whether we would or wouldn't do (borstals word ) a pensioner.

I think its very telling that a casual comment by myself has taken over this thread.

We should be talking about all the ins and outs of the storylines but we're all posting about who we would or wouldn't have sex with...

There had better be a blinder of a last episode....

maybe you should put more thought into your comments instead of posting willy-nilly without considering the sexual preferences of others

Seriously though, I agree completely. I'm on US speed I'll be interested to see what ye think of this week's ep. I personally think it's improving

Aw, so funny... yes, I have crap taste in women! What, all your girlfriends were supermodels?

But getting back to the point I made a few posts ago, this used to be must-watch TV, utterly compelling, and we're going on about silly shit like this, amusing though it is?

This show is rapidly running out of steam, IMO... 50% of it is still very good, whilst the rest is just desperate...

Well, Brody's back in and therefore, so am I...

Terrific episode.

Although that whole training montage bit should have cheesy 80's rock over the top... what, he was a shivering wreck, shitting himself and then 20 minutes later he was OK?

I even think that the Dana scene worked (wish they could have done something similar with Brody's wife, who is now so irrelevant that I've actually forgotten her name...

Liking the way HOMELAND is going...

Brody's wife is fitter than Saul's wife.....

Enjoying this, as ridiculous as it's getting. Wouldn't put Saul's 'play' past the CIA but whether they could actually pull it off is another matter entirely.

Still, entertaining stuff, and Damien Lewis made a very convincing junkie.

The plot is beyond ridiculous now but at least it's mildly more entertaining.

Firstly we have Sauls plan - Iran are apparently responsible for bombing the CIA but they are now going to accept Brody as the hero bomber? Putting that major plot hole aside, if he does succeed will it not be obvious that he's working for the US?

Then the nonsense with this Mossad agent. Seriously long con to meet Sauls wife years ago when he was a mid ranking agent. Now the head of the CIA but has no security measures to stop someone walking in and bugging his place. And how exactly does this guy know Senator Lockhart? Doubt the writers will bother explaining that.

Then we have Carrie and her weekly self destruction. Just terrible writing all round.
