None of this is any different to your mum telling you off in front of your friends and embarrising you, it's just as I said earlier the technology has changed and the landscape of communication means it's 28 million as apposed to five friends in your back garden.

There is a bit of difference to be fair. Like, a difference of about 27,999,995.

is this where yanks say pwned or something? sorry Jimmer
And I think she's right; tis is so very much different from your mam belting you or calling you a little grot in front of your mates, if ONLY cos of the world-wide notoriety involved. Anyone got a picture of her? I just want to be in on this from the start inn case I'm ever drifting my way through middle-America, looking to not get shot....

I think she should put it behind her, get a job, buy a new laptop, leave home and go to college. The end!

Well that's what her dad would have done isn't it? After all, at 15 he had his own place, was at school and college and had two jobs, not even including being a volunteer firefighter

Has she really been humiliated in front of the whole world? The whole world? 28 million people know what he looks like, not her. Sure he'll probably be recognised time to time but this will blow over.

But thanks to her dad her name is known. Imagine even if only one in every 10,000 who watches the vid decides to be a dick and leave her a snotty message on FB, Twitter or whatever because of it. That's a lot of shit for not doing what your parents tell you to do (as gaz said, it's not like she's greasing poles at the local flophouse or something is it?).

I just can't get my head around the notion that she was out of order to moan about her parents (ostensibly privately) on the internet, but it's admirable for her dad to publicly slate his daughter on Youtube. Over fucking household chores of all things.

I think people are starting to come round to our way of thinking SD. Yes, every crime should not go unpunished...but to a lot of people these days everything's a fucking capital crime!!

I think the bloke's an absolute cock who has shown himself up to be an irresponsible and usless parent. Were children not chastised before the internet? Wow, an ungrateful child! That's a new one! Let's humiliate them because I've ran out of ways to keep them on track.
I'm at the end of my tether, so I'll write a script, put my best clothes on and shoot her laptop, then post it on Facebook. It would have saved a debate if the inbred had had his bollocks chopped off at birth

None of us can - 'cos we don't live in their house, we don't know what the girl's like, what else she's done, or how many warnings he'd given her before thinking 'fuck it' and, erm, shooting her laptop. Perhaps he'd issued a threat that if she stepped out of line again he'd destroy her computer, film it and put it on the internet. And then she stepped out of line again. Life's a shithouse.
Though whether it makes her a better or worse person is anyone's guess.

And my fellow sports news publication reader comes out and takes it to the next level! Fantastico Jonsonio!!
Pretty sure you've advocated chopping off peoples bollocks for all kinds of stuff. Wondered how long it would take you this time

Well no, and again I'm only going what's in the video but it seems like some pretty petty shit to me. I've already said I don't really have a problem with him destroying her laptop (although, a gun, seriously? ). Take all her stuff and leave her with a host of 21st Century problems, whatever. I'm merely questioning the wisdom of going through it all publicly, especially when he's clearly relishing the whole thing.
