@ Jinks - i actually traded it in the other week, might get it again later, but it didn't grab me like the older games.

As for the Trick Events condundrum, they post the total for the whole run, rather than a running total - a bit confusing, but you know how much you have to push for each event.

the best thing to do for them is to use "manuals" to keep your combo going - so nose or tail press between your jumps, make sure you stick the landings and vary your tricks.

990/1000 points for this and I am now in the hands of EA and their fucked up system for Global Events as to whether I will get the full 1000. All I need is the cheevy for "Participate in a Global Event in every peak." Only problem is that you are completely dependant on EA as to where the global events are. Had this game for 2 weeks and not once have they done a global event in Antartica. Wankers!

I'm playing world tour just to unlock everything, but I hate it. I love the races but the trick sections are crazy!?!?

I'm no good at either kind, but I love the trick sections and try to avoid the races.

Weird...

Anyway, I gave up on the world tour and now just do trick runs of the levels I already know.

Definitely. I try to keep the same combo going from beginning to end, or else I feel it's mostly pointless. That's probably why I haven't beaten much of this game.
