just checked the line up for 2013 and realised theres at least 6 non sequel/prequel/remake one word dystopian SF films

Elysium, EndersGame, Robopocalypse, Singularity, 1000AE and Oblivan - maybe one or two others

wonder what brought all these on? Inception? District 9? R Scotts return to dark Sci Fi?
