The boss battle with The End has to be one of the greatest boss battles in video game history,the potential to last 3 hours or be skipped altogether by changing the ps2's internal calender. Simply spectacular.

You can also snipe him in his wheelchair just after the cave sequence before entering the factory and change the battle completely, the details are fantastic.

Not without a few unfortunate bugs, but this plays very nicely (particularly Snake Eater with the extra pulling power of current gen tech available). MGS2 and 3 are still essentials even without some of the extra content which has dissapeared in the transition such as the secret theatre and the minigames like Snake VS Monkey.
