At Rawlinson's request, the next decade poll is going to be his favourite decade. Expect a hell of a lot of pimping for his favourite porn films

Email address is: empire70slist@hotmail.co.uk

As for a deadline, we havent decided one yet, but there will be a couple of months to catch up on some new films. As before, lists of 25/50/100 are welcome, as well as the lists being a mixture of shorts and features.

Anyone care to guess what'll come after Jaws, then?

Will you be pimping the films that turn you on? Digby the Biggest Dog in the World and Watership Down?

Oddly enough I was threatening to send a copy of that to another board member yesterday.

You've never seen Watership Down? Go buy the dvd and get the tissues ready.

Because it's sad. Not because it really will turn you on.

I hope.

I'm sure Hughes would prefer a movie where the rabbits are killed off one by one.

You're just randomly naming films that won't make my 100.

Unlike Watership Down which, of course, will.

Yeah, but if the 1000 thread is anything to judge by, Taxi Driver will be on the majority of lists, and I think The Godfather is likely to nail at least 3/4 of them.

I'm down for this, I'm more likely to get one done for this decade than the 20s.

Oh, and Godfather will be nowhere near my list. Godfather 2 might, though.

But it also has Warren Oates.

Also, can everyone watch Cooley High before voting?

Actually, checking, Impqueen has just watched the highest 70s entry on my film list.

Am I allowed Bill Douglas as a single entry?
