Having viewed some Dickens adaptations recently I noticed just how quirky and awesome some of his character names are (Mr Smallweed, Mr Tulkinghorn Mr Guppy etc...). It kind of reminded me of the Coen Brothers approach to naming their characters, so I'm wondering what people consider to be the best character names in cinema!

I'll start.

Jesus Quintana

I must be the only person in the world who thinks Snake Plissken is a crap name. For me, it has to be either Indiana Jones or Raleigh St. Clair.

I'm with you, I've always hated "Snake Plissken" for a name.

For the last decade male modelling has been dominated by one name, and five syllables: De-Rek-Zoo-Lan-Der.

Shout out for some Rocky opponents too:

Apollo Creed
Clubber Lang
Ivan Drago
Tommy Gunn
