What next? Pepper Potts: The Movie? Or maybe General Ross: Full On Assault!!
And they wonder why people are getting a little bored with all the marvel crap being forced onto the market.

Agree. Thor and Captain America were average, Iron Man 2 was boring and anything with Lantern or Hornet in the title really shouldn't have got past the, ahem, green light. I think the genre's been done to death now and there could be a backlash on the way. Couldn't give a Valkyrie's codpiece about Avengers either ....

Well, the Cap 2 thing is easy. There was that big montage type section of the film where we saw lots of snippets of other battles. It'd be easy enough to set the film during that period of time. That said, coming up with a framing device to explain that in a simple and understandable way might be tricky.

Nicky Fury flick could be cool, but the 70's thing seems odd, surely the best way to do a Fury flick would be to make a modern spy movie, all high tech espionage and Fury battling A.I.M or some other sort of fringe science type uber threat.

I really enjoyed Captain America so im glad that the sequel will be made soon.Perhaps Dum Dum will be seen in a WW2 flashback and Cap will face his former friend Bucky now transformed into The Winter Soldier in the present day?

Not too sure about a Nick Fury movie set in the 70s with Sam Jackson though, hes far too old to play his younger self. What are they going to do, slap an afro on him?

Unless it's a spoof spy-comedy a la Black Dynamite I can't see Samuel L. Jackson playing himself in his 20s without laughable wigs and heavy make-up. No-one is going to take that seriously.

I'd like to see Marvel try something different, say an 18 rated Carnage movie utilising one of their characters in a more adult movie and portraying Cletus Cassidy as the maniac killer he is in the red blood suit. Sack the bright coloured boyscouts for a bit, try some villain movies...Venom, Hobgoblin, Juggernaut...endless possibiities and not just same old same old with 2, 3, 4 5 on the end and don't get me fuckin started on the Amazing Horseshit Spiderman...

Unless Avengers is the film Marvel have been apparently expecting to be the one event movie big enough to make all the often individual film weakening cross referencing justified, for me, at least, they can go to Hell..

You can have too much of a good thing, and you can definitely have too much of a mediocre run of the mill half arsed thing that doesn't have it's eye on the ball during the play offs because it's already thinking about the final.

The man can look 190 or 35 with the right wig.
And why are people who think Marvel's movie are crap even reading Marvel related articles, let alone leaving comments - in which the seem to think that the whole world agrees with them.
Do you not have anything better to do?
