Actually I still love going to the cinema. Yeah ok there are occasions when it is nightmarish, but then if you choose to go on Saturday afternoons or Wednesday nights, you know what to expect. The times when I have either gone on a mid-week day off or a Sunday morning or a Thursday night or a Friday night late night showing are some of my favourite times in the Cinema. Huge screen ( no matter how big your TV is, it just doesn't compare), surround sound, the smell of popcorn in the air, big comfy seats. The MGM Lion, the New Line logo, the Pixar Lamp, the Dolby advert, trailers, that moment of silence just before the film kicks in, those films where the audience is silent at the end, watching a re-released classic and everyone just waiting on that one line to be said or that one scene to come on and the buzz around the room when it does, those films that you come out of thinking 'I have got to see that again', liking an actor/actress that much that you go out and buy the rest of their films right away because you absolutely have to see everything they have ever been in. I love the cinema.
