I thought the whole point about this was to revisit the grandournes of the over the top violence of the (more or less) classic 80's movies. Now there is really no point whatsoever to see this film. The fun has been taken out of it.

The problem isn't that there won't be any swearing, it's that he's taken the rating down to PG-13, which probably means the fight scenes - the only reason to watch The Expendables - won't be as graphic, and therefore won't be as badass.

Regardless of what we think it was too late to change anyway since I imagine that principal photography is nearly over so it's not like Sly could have binned Norris and started from scratch.
