You'd think Chuck would've just been happy enough to be in a movie that actually got shown in a cinema instead of straight to dvd. If It's anything less than a 15 I'll be avoiding it in cinema and waiting for the uncut dvd.

Surely this film is designed to be all out action and people getting the crap kicked out of them or lots of people getting shot. How then can you make this fit a PG-13 (assume this will mean a 15 in the UK rather than a 12). We want the cast doing what they do best. Cut Chuck Norris out of it if he is not happy to be associated with "this" kind of film any more.

This is the worst news ever! I agree with DavidJThomson Chuck Norris SHOULD be thankful he's in a movie that people will see. He's probably only in the movie for five minutes. 'Expendables 1' never had any sex or that much naughty words init but the violence helped make the movie. It was always suppose to be a throw back to the action movies of the eighties. Remember the eighties 'Chuck' where you killed a rat with your teeth. Aaarrrrrhh

I haven't commented on these boards for years but feel the need to break my silence for this: WHAT THE FUCK?!! The OTT violence MADE the last film good and even then it wasn't fantastic. This was supposed to be an improvement, now you've taken away the best thing about the first film because some washed-up beard with a conscience demands it! What happened to the Chuck who filmed the best-ever martial arts fight with Bruce Lee? The one who saw that getting limbs broken could be an ART FORM. Making this a PG-13 is like making porn with the sex scenes cut out. Fucktards.

 Stallone should get a grip of himself and sack Chuck Norris for this outrageous shit! I mean an action film like this is all about the violence and swearing. The guy hasn't made a decent film since Delta Force and most of his shit goes straight to video/DVD! It sounds like he's lost the fucking plot!

Who does this guy think he is?? Sly should have told him that this is how it's gonna be if you don't like it then off you go. I will still watch this because they got Van Damme to play the bad guy which was genius, it's been a long time since he played this type of character and I reckon he'll steal the show! Here's to hoping anyway

Chuck Norris has obviously signed a contract giving him a cut of the takings and not set salary. Therefore he wants every fucker on the plant to see it, including families and their annoying popcorn eating children! He clearly didn’t have a problem making 18 films back in 80’s / 90’s. He’s clearly broke as he hasn’t done a film that wasn’t straight to DVD (or even VHS) for years! Get rid of Norris and let’s have some proper ass kicking action! Chuck Norris clearly hasn’t seen Blade Trinity, a fucking awful film, saved in my opinion my one of my favorite lines ever, “You cock juggling thunder cunt!” Now FUCK OFF Chuck!

Oh the irony of hiring a cult action star in order to make your movie 'badass' and instead he has it toned down.

Personally I'll be avoiding the second one anyway. The first one was a collection of terrible actors reading terrible dialogue from a terrible script alongside terrible action.

When they finally get all bad asses in the world in one single movie (ok Segal won't do it, byt anyways) the badest bad ass of them all, Chuck Fuckin "I eat your children for breakfast" Norris, suddenly get's brain damaged and want's 11 year old kids to be able to go watch this with their parents. What's next? Expendables 2 Happy Meal toys?

Isn't the current wave of love for Chuck Norris irony? Don't people get more pleasure out of saying things like 'Chucks tears can cure cancer but he never cries' more than they do watching his films? Can we not move past this now and realise that, while a talented martial artist and former world champion, his films/tv shows are almost universally shit. Who wants to see him in a film so bad that it's worth letting him put ultimatums down on big projects? Next thing you know they'll be bringin back Hasslehoff as Nick Fury and he'll be insisting he kicks the Hulks ass. Here's a few Chuck Norris facts for you, Chuck Norris does not think religion and state politics should be kept seperate. Chuck Norris supports a ban on same sex marriage. Chuck Norris has made expendables 2 a shitter film than it would've been anyway

It's not just the swearing, it's the gore and violence, it's the boobs and sex. It's everything that was in these films in the 80's when studios were happy to cater for the over 18 market. But now they're too afraid of loosing out on that tween dollar to make any films that arn't for kids. If only they would stop charging ridiculous amounts for tickets and make more adult films more people might actually go to the cinema.
