Hopefully this strange little idea will work and won't be anything like the aweful Van Helsing or that even worse Twishite saga! The idea and story that they've come up with sound fun so hopefully they put some worthy effort into the script with some decent characters and some evil vamps! I thought the vamps in 30 Days of Night were pretty effective so hopefully they will go along those lines.

I'm just waiting to see if they keep the fact that Lincoln was a bigot and a racist, as well as a warmonger.

But I doubt it.

Lincoln was no more a racist than virtually any other white person alive at that time. While many sought the abolition of slavery, it's also true that most of those people would have been aghast at the idea of full equal rights or an integrated society. Lincoln is a complicated figure, at times over praised in the USA, but to suggest he was a "war monger" isn't at all accurate either

Anyway... terrible poster. Bland, photoshopped, awful tagline.. but perhaps worst of all is the smug expression on Lincoln's face. I don't know who this actor is, but I already dislike him. It looks as if they took one of those presidential lookalikes that always pop up on TV commercials for car dealerships during President's Day Weekend and cast him on the strength of his beard and stove pipe hat experience
