After seeing the list rather glad I didn't subscribe as have a fair few of them already truth be told would've liked to see a few of their older more classic titles included, will probably pick the 1s I want & get them from Forbiden Planet when I go into London to get my stash.

I haven't received anything as yet (issue 2 subscriber!) i'm assuming once Issue 3 is released I will receive 2+3 together and so forth.

It would be nice if subscribers were ahead rather than behind!!!

Today I received.... Drum roll.....

A confirmation letter!!!

Yeah same here.

It's really doing my head in now. Subscribers shouldn't be 2 issues behind IMO.

I also received the confimation letter. Best bit, when it asks you to let them know if your address is incorrect. If it was I wouldn't be reading the letter telling me to correct it now would I.

I've just subscribed online, however, i've put my work address for delivery and put the postcode in wrong. Shitballs.

I called the number given but it's office hours only, so i'll give them a shout tomorrow and rectify the situation!

I've just had my confirmation letter through. It went to my parents house since that was the billing address. I hope there aren't any issues with delivery address and billing address being different.

I really should head down the bank and sort my change of address out - it's been nearly 3 months!

The lateness may be due to having reprint the now sold-out isses to fulfill subscriber orders. That's the only reason I can think of anyway as subscribers usually do receive stuff in advance of shops.

That's a bit of a piss-poor excuse if that's the case. Especially for people like Harry Turtle who subscribed for Issue 1 and are facing Issue 3 being released without yet receiving a single delivery.

Not really. In the US any re-orders tend to take a minimum of one month; I doubt they have their own printing presses, it's shipped out to another company. Perhaps they underestimated demand.

They should have emailed you telling you this (if it is the case); has anyone tried emailing or ringing them and asking for an explanation?

I contacted them via their website a week ago and still haven't heard anything back. That's annoyed me more than the fact I'm still waiting to be honest.

In their defence it did say in the confirmation email I received immediately after subscribing that it would take up to 28 days. I just didn't expect that it would take so long to deliver issue 1 considering issue 2 has hit the shops.

That drives me crazy when companies don't answer their emails. It gets you a bit nervous about who you're dealing with (though they might not have many staff on hand to deal with that kind of stuff, I tend to assume the worst!).

Hopefully it all works out anyway. I'm sure it will be fine as they're doing ads on the tv and don't want to get to many consumer complaints; if it says 28 days that's probably how long it will take!

Has anyone else noticed that although its coming out as issue 1, 2, etc, they're not in order by the numbers on the spine? Spiderman was number 21 and Dark Phoenix is number 2

Yep. I also realised that the sequel to Issue 1 (Spider-Man: Coming Home) / Volume 21 is going to be Issue 47...

Yay, issue 1 arrived.

Now I can start bitching about the delay for issue 2

Anyone else get theirs today?

Nope nothing. Wait. Just Issue 1? I thought they were supposed to ship in deliveries of 2 issues at a time?

I'm assuming it's to keep it in line with everyone else - so that they can keep a simple distribution package of the same two issues for everyone, at the same time regardless of your starting issue.

If I remember rightly, first issue ordered is sent individually, the rest are sent 2 at a time.

Fair enough. That makes sense. Have any issue 2 subscribers received anything yet?

Anyone know the street date for Issue 2?

I went into my local comic shop on Saturday (07/01) and it was already on sale - try a specialist shop if you can't see it in a newsagents

No, not got any deliveries as yet.

But if you go by the above that Issue 2 hit shelves on 07/01 then Issue 3 must hit on 21/01 if it's every two weeks.....meaning we might get 2+3 this Saturday. But I wouldn't want to get anyones hopes up~!

If that's the case then I'm most likely going to have to wait til Monday to get mine. With two graphic novels, a DVD and a mug I imagine the parcel won't fit through the letterbox and I'm in work all day Saturday. I'll probably get one of those annoying cards that'll tell me to pick up the parcel from my local depot after 24 hours.

Just checked the site as advised and it also states 16/01, but that's the 'transaction date', I can't see dispatch date anywhere.

Yeah! To be fair, I think this is pretty piss poor how long its taking. I stopped subscribing to Empire because in the end I was getting the magazine two weeks after seeing it on the shelves. Subscribers shouldn't be behind those who buy it in the shops in my opinon. Time was, when subscribers used to get stuff before shop release!

Bloody hell! 2 weeks! Thats why i've never subsribed to Empire (or any other titles to be frank) 'cos i'd much rather buy it off the shelf - i'm really impatient when it comes to things like that!!

Post has just been and still nothing. Not getting off to a good start, are they? Knowing my luck when they finally do arrive I'll be missing the free gifts and I'll have that to moan about next. FML.
