I can't say I have very much enthusiasm for Joel Schumacher films ever since he desecrated Batman and most of his other films are shit as well. Therefore I had 0% interest in this film. However now he's gone and Anderson is directing, who directed the absolutely brilliant The Machinist (one of my favourite films) I can positively say my interest in this film has gone up 90%. I’m looking forward to this now. I've been waiting awhile for him to do a film. The story does sound a bit naff, but I'm sure Anderson will make it 100 x better than if Schumacher was directing.
