Not exactly terrible, but by the time you get to the end of it you have to wonder why everyone involved bothered. Everyone in it pretty much coasts by on the history of the other films they've been in, and without spoiling it for the doubtless hoards of people that have been waiting all their lives to see a film about bird watching/birding, the ending is, while not a terrible disappointment, maybe one of the biggest non events of the last few years. The fact it's a 'comedy' where there's no laughs (unless you giggle at the thought of someone mixing up a pink legged goose with a pink goose) is probably the best way to describe it.
