I've only included games I've completed. I might start putting in ones that I've played for a bit but personally I don't think it's possible to rate a game in 30 minutes.

Wow..then this list is a lot shorter!. I completely disagree about juding games in 30 minutes: unless there is a diverse storyline: they remain fairly similar all the way through. I know if I love a game or not within a minute or less.

I only tend to go for the plot/character development heavy games these days so I don't think it's possible for me to rate them after only playing about 5% of it. It'd be like rating a film after just the opening credits. Each to their own and all that though, I'm not having a go or anything just putting across my personal point of view.

I'm increasing my score for Arkham City to 4/5. I still think the plot was hokum but I've really enjoyed the riddle trophy collect-a-thon. It seems the glitch I'd read about hasn't affected me and I've only got about 4 things left to collect and then about 4 or 5 of the personal challenges left.

Currently playing Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection. Metal Gear Solid 3 is still amazing as usual and one of my all-time favourite games and I'm making my through Peace Walker now and it's alright I suppose, a bit different to what I'm used too.

Come to think of it: it has been a long time since I played a game with a storyline I really got involved in. Last one was probably..Bioshock? Ignored the ME series based on the first ones combat , really should give them another go.

26. Legend of Grimrock            7.5/10 (Only just started, could very possibly go up in score)

27. Drakensang Online              5/10

30. Star Wars the Old Republic    6/10

-Everything is nice..except some very weak and dull combat.

Early impressions

Trials Evolution
This is going to swallow my life. Trying to beat my friends times is fiendishly addictive. I haven't even tried out online yet, or the map editor. (5)

Rayman Origins
Amazingly addictive old school 2D platformer with some brilliant level design. Looks phenomenal too. I can see me trying to 100% this (4)

Scores for both are subject to change following further play.

More games bought and played.

31. Serious Sam 3 BFE (2011)

+Nice Guns, solid graphics, great co-op, nicely familiar guns and nasties, old school fun

-Bland-terrible level designs, nothing new, some latency issues

6.5/10

32. World of Battles (2012)

+ Fast paced combat, customisable units, fun to play in short bursts

-Poor graphics, generic..everything

6/10

I also preordered Torchlight 2 (which gives you Torchlight 1 for free!)

33. ORION- Dino beatdown
+Great idea, decent guns and fun equipment, graphics range from decent to pretty poor, some thrilling moments, great dev. community, has a lot of promise, cheap (though it is basically a mod..)

-Released FAR too soon, vehicles are generally poor, poor sounds FX, lots of bugs including making server joining near impossible ( a slight issue....), no server filters, some iffy AI at times.

=It might be amazing yet, but as it stands this Killing Floor with Dinosaurs idea is nowhere near complete yet. I just hope the developers are as hard working as they are friendly! Otherwise this could well be a waste of 8 euros.

5/10

34. Amnesia the Dark Descent: Not as scary as my first run though..but still a nightmarish atmosphere. 8/10

35.Cryostasis: Not scary enough and framerate issues on a relatively high end pc. Still a gripping story and decent graphics.  7/10

Diablo 3

Horrific server issues meant that the ratio of me actually playing compared to trying to play this was 1:3.  Of what I did play:

+Looting is as ever fantastic, great fun with coop, nice atmosphere, fun skills and FX, diverse characters, it's Diablo.

- Dated graphics, no skill points anymore, SERVER ISSUES, lets be honest... nothing original.

= There is a fair amount wrong or at least unorginal about this game. It brings nothing particularly new to the table and even the graphics look 4-5 years old and don't even get me started on the aggravation caused by constant errors when trying to log in just to play the game.

It is, however, Diablo. So you know you will get a perfectly refined experience, fantastic cineamatics, diverse class choices and an engrossing world to lose yourself and your friends in and just go loot-crazy. I really like it.

8/10

Damn you Steam sale: bought 2 more game bundles this weekend.

34. Magicka

Great fun experimenting with spell combos, very funny, nice graphics, camea movemen is a little annoying at times.

8/10

35. Mount and Blade

HUGE battles of 200 players are fantastic, very smooth considering player count, very fast loading, when tactics go to plan it is enormously satisfying,  pretty dull combat overall (sometimes it is great) and average graphics.

7/10

36. The Ship

Great ships with nice details, cluedoesque characters really suit the mood, looting cabins and area is great fun, character needs is a nice touch and mostly works well, solid weapons and melee combat, great fun thinking up inventive murders, traps are a nice touch ..but rarely used.

8.5/10

Also got back into MW3 playing the infected community game mode. Terrific fun but really could use rounds: as the games end so quickly and most time is spent loading up.

I played far too much games this weekend....... //
