Yeah I know. At least it will only take a couple of evenings to watch them. I got so wrapped up in watching Dexter and Alice Guy shorts that I completely forgot about this

I'll probably end up watching them all on Sunday. There's a lot to be said for leaving things to the last minute.

Just seen them all in the last few hours

Alma - Loved it. I wonder if the feature will keep the ending.
Red Balloon - Fantastic
Blitz Wolf - Superb
Un Chien Andalou - Randomness for the sake of being random. Utter balls.
Duck Dodgers - Marvin's my hero. Ace.
For The Birds - One of the best thing ever made.
Forklift Driver Klaus - Brilliant. The two impaled workers looking at one another screaming had me in stitches.
Gertie - Won't make my top 6 but she's a great character
Malice in Wonderland - Nuttier than a fruitcake. I love animation like this, the constant swirling and morphing and the like, just wish it hadn't been so out there
Menilmontant - Yawn
Night and Fog - Harrowing
Scenes from the Suberbs - Perhaps the most meh thing I've ever seen.
Six Shooter - Greatness.

Agreed - I just couldn't care about any of it.

I have Menilmontant to watch this morning, then I'll send my votes off.

And now some comments:
Alma-I love it, but there's some strong competition and I don't expect it to get through
Red Balloon-OK, but nothing particularly special
Blitz Wolf-Brilliant
Un Chien Andalou-Less good on rewatch, which is a death knell in this round
Duck Dodgers-Will probably win. Would be a deserving one too
For the Birds-There's no way this won't get through, and it'd be deserving as well
Forklift Driver Klaus-Didn't have me laughing till the end, but the last 2 minutes or so is comedy gold
Gertie the Dinosaur-More an important historical artifact than a good short
Malice in Wonderland-A mesh of ideas, nothing that really stood out. Nice animation though
Menilmontant-Well shot and acted, but not interesting to watch
Night and Fog-Harrowing and utterly brilliant
Scenes from the Suburbs-God, this was annoying. When you set your short in a totalitarian USA, it'd be nice to do something with the concept rather than rush through the only interesting bits of the film so we can spend more time with our charisma vacuum protagonists.
Six Shooter-A masterpiece, and one I'd never have watched if not for this round. I hope it wins.

It may not go through but it's always a good HoF when one of your competitors puts their weight behind your choice

Can it close now? I'm totalling winning the public vote!

Six Shooter was hubu_phonk's first choice for the shorts round too, but got in just after you. He'll be raging if it wins

Well I do like 2 of Pulp's songs. Which is a hell of a lot more than Matty likes from Queen
