List sent. I've just removed about 4 duplicates, so hope I've caught them all. I got a bit muddled at the list stage†

You lied about your number 1!

Is there anyone else who is planning to send a list in? It doesnt matter if it is a small list. We were hoping for at least 2 or 3 more before starting to put them up.

Thanks for the list Harry. That is a lot of Keaton!

I did warn you

I would have liked to have watched more Lloyd and Chaplin as well as a few more features but time got the better of me.

We need a thread with the deadlines for all the lists on the go, although with the deadline for this one being on my birthday I should have remembered anyway .

You really should have

It is great to see how much love Keaton has been getting generally. Like you, I have focused a lot on Buster before this poll, so I will be planning on going through the others sometime soon.

What did I say I was going to put as no 1? (I'm medicated and utterly utterly blank). The ordering of my top 4 was amazingly difficult.

I apologise, I've completely ignored this entire thing and I don't have what I believe is a substantial enough list. Unless you'd like my pitiable Top 10/15 I'll have to step out and then just bitch when Underworld isn't high enough. †

This was just a complete lie wasnt it

Thanks for the list. So many in there I keep meaning to get around to.

I had a list and then realised I had a number of specific scraps relating to the 1920ís and earlier and took a couple of hours rearranging everything. Iím not totally happy with it though I like the Top 50 or so but then it gets hazy.

There are some my favourites in that 50 - 80 section (58, 66, 72, 74, 79 stand out for me), so it doesnt give the impression of being a particular drop in quality after the 50.

I noticed the 1925 Phantom of the Opera seems to be getting a new DVD release.

I'm in. I think my normal number 1 might actually be toppled too thanks to a recent rather wonderful Criterion release.

It was really really difficult - even ordering the best from within that release. I didn't actually get a chance to rewatch my no 1 though, and I do wonder if it would have stayed if I had.

I donít think thereís a dip in quality but I know if I were to do that section again things could easily be moved around. Then however as much as I might like 74 I think it pales in comparison to 28, despite it coming after.

Are we in one vote territory here? If so, I'm very happy at the other L&H films to come . That's the only one I've seen so far.

Yeah there were quite a few one vote films between 150 and 119. There were only about 10 ties within the bottom 50 though so we decided to let you all have an extra 50

This list is going to be largely blurbless I expect, so if anyone wants to add one to a film please let us know.

As I struggled to enter a list of 25 it's safe to say that unless I voted for it I haven't seen it .

I don't think Philip made my list, although the Marilyn moment is amusing.

I'm not doing great so far - one L&H and Waxworks. Looks like Impqueen disagrees with Rick and I on Last Laugh though!

I didn't vote for We Faw Down and I really should have. I wonder how many other L&Hs won't have me as the highest vote?

If you're after blurbs, I think I reviewed Philip and Dice in my 500 thread.

Of the new entries, only seen the Keaton films. The Haunted House is good but not one of my favourites.

I have written this blurb for The Wedding March:

"This is good. I like it."

Sorry it's a bit long. I have a habit of being somewhat self-indulgent.

Philip will also be blurbed in the Shorts list - a few of the L&H are likely to be in there.

I did blurbs, or at least a combination of words side by side, for pretty much all the Keaton shorts I've watched. I'm sure Rick wrote some as well, for pretty much the same shorts. Also didn't Rhubarb dedicate a thread to Keaton films? I'm sure there'll be plenty of blurbage there.

Yeah and there should be a load on my blog or in my Top 100 thread, if you want to pilfer any of those: The Crowd, The Wind, The Mark of Zorro, Student Prince, etc etc.
