Have a look at this. Seems to all be about Bane and his origin.

I'm guessing Skyfall, Bond. Because Nolan I think would only use excisting characters from the DC comics universe and if you google the name Pavel, there aren't any hits, apart from links to this document about a hundred times. And if it is an existing character you would be able to find at least one or two pages about the character. So I'm guessing it's Bond.

The link shows a picture of the name mentioned and it is definetly Javier Bardem so its is without question skyfall.

I totally disagree with the previous comment that Nolan would only use characters from the DC universe. He has in previous movies added new characters to help the story.

The page on Wired has this at the bottom:

223.255

Looks like the first half of an IP address to me, but nothing on this transcript is working for me as the second half - anyone see anything I don't? Or maybe I'm looking for something that isn't there - just find it difficult to believe we'd be given a breadcrumb that led nowhere!

I had thatn thought re-ip address, and the other image from empire has 2355-889 at the top.

Doesnt do anything though unfortunately!

One popular theory was that you take both documents and use the black bars together, perhaps to show words, or create a new image or barcode. But they could easily have been trolls too..

NolanFans seems to think that this is The Dark Knight Rises. I'm going with them.

But weren't Peter Parkers parents Russian spies or something?

I looked the I.P. address up for 223.225.2355.889 (the numbers from the top and bottom of the two documents) you get a location near York, but it says the domain is not supported. I have no idea if this means anything, and barely know what you can do with that information.

Okay I take back my comment that it couldn't be TDKR. I really do want it to be TDKR btw. This stuff always make me so anxious to see the movie I just go crazy. I know, I'm nuts. Plus it seems kind of silly to go viral with things if they only just started shooting Skyfall. So any anticipation build right now would be useless once the movie's actually out.
There are actors on the IMDB cast list that don't have a character name yet so that could be why you can't find the name anywhere else but on posts on the viral stuff.

I've never found these viral campaigns and teasers exciting, in the end the movie will still come out and unlocking a dimly lit photo of Batman's knee won't change your viewing experience... I just don't understand how people get so worked up over these things.

I've always enjoyed them - you get a little bit of immersion in the universe of the film you're excited to see, and I love the thrill of the treasure hunt, finding and breaking codes and clues, always looking for the next breadcrumb. It's a buzz. Plus, occasionally they lead to free shit, and everyone loves free shit.

It's part of the viral campaign for The Dark Knight Rises and concerns Dr Leonid Pavel, played by Alon Aboutboul. There is also a mock up of a photocopied wanted poster to go with it.
Do they not think we're looking forward to this movie enough, that we'd forget if they didn't pull these type of stunts?

Me too, absolutely loved the TDK virals. Thought they were a stroke of genius. In fact, sowasred2012 your username rings a bell, I'm sure I was conferring with you on the TDK virals when they came out??
