I don't get the complaints about the red card. He went in two footed, with both feet off the ground. That's a red card. It doesn't matter how much of the ball he got.

Anyhoo, Hull v Crawley. I'll take that. Hopefully give them a good beating like they did with Ipswich yesterday.

 Is Arsenal vs Villa the only other all Prem tie? This is, of course, assuming Arsenal can beat Leeds tomorrow. I feel like Wenger really has to go for this. Such a tricky season for them, but if he could make Wembley and get top 4 it would be an amazing turn around for him.

Added to that awful commentary with Andy Townsend and that other naff guy who thinks he is funny - its a dreadful channel in general and these idiots spoil even the footy!!

How did Ryan Giggs stay on the pitch? I never knew you can kick a guy in the knees full pelt and not get a booking at least? Then later he did a couple of trademark Giggsy obstructions.

I just hope he didn't tackle his brother's wife like that.

I like Villa but I am sorry to say I backed Rovers on Saturday and in fact think Villa being relegated is a great bet.

Big Feck is a pretty poor manager, He's done nothing really. SPL pundits will point to his 2 SPL 'wins' with Rangers. But to be fair if you can't win an SPL title with Rangers every season or two you really must be rubbish.

As a Scot, I like Fergie but as a football fan I dislike Man Utd and everything they stand for. Man United are the Weyland Yutani of the Premiership (c) 2012 Private Hudson.

Plus the Utd pen wasn't as clear cut as they said. Did the City guy actually touch the Utd player? I don't think he did.

I'd love to see Villa get relegated! If only because every other person round here (Midlands) is a Villa fan and you never hear the end of it when they have the slightest bit of good fortune. They've been a bit quiet the past 12 months though...

Everton v Fulham too. I'm glad there's a few all-premiership clashes - makes the playing field a bit better for the likes of us who've drawn Brighton or Wrexham. And knowing that either Man U or Liverpool will go out in the next round is always good.

I agree but to be fair to him, did he not only give it 'cos Rooney appealed straight away? I reckon even with the law on two-footed lunges as it is (making it technically a foul regardless of the lack of contact) he may have let it slide if ex-baldy hadn't started bleating. Christ, Nani didn't even bother to dive.
Having said all that, Foy's been particularly shite this season so even if he was influenced by Rooney getting in his face I guess he was still at fault.
