Glance at the posters from a distance, they do look like the actors, particularly the Tommy Lee Jones one (which probably, in terms of the very basics of his facial expression is going to chime with Brolin's take on the younger version of the character). Closer to the poster, the faces disappear and you see MIB3 over and over again. Not a great deal wrong with the concept or execution. Get the impression that since the MIB don't officially exist, and operate in the periphery of society in the world of the film, not being able to get a totally clear close up look at them TOTALLY fits in with the world of the film, Doubt the film will focus on that sort of thing to much, but would be cool if they manage to make the characters seem mysterious to bystanders, did they see what they think they saw? All in character with the films. The film itself is a bigger issue than this artwork. MIB2 was shite, and I;ve always said they shouldn't have bothered using screen time to bring TLJ into it. WS could have turned up for work, TLJ could have already been there, WS then would have have been like 'WTF' and TLJ could have said 'No time to explain, Slick, we got work to do'. With no explanation ever given. Kooky, within the parameters set by the first film, no screen time wasted with getting TLJ back into the fold, and then more time to develop the plot of the film. The dog as sidekick in MIB garb was utter shite, presumably the result of some idiot thinking 'people liked the bit with the dog in the first film, let's bring back the dog' not realising it;s the reveal of the dog that formed the gag that was the thing that worked. Surprises people don't see coming should have been the way to go, rather than stuff like shoehorning in the dog for any more than a passing gag. In that regard, the very last moment of the film, while a spin on the closing gag of the first film, was much more like it. . Re MIB3, hopefully the criticism of how rushed it all seemed has been taken on board. That's more important than these initial teaser posters which, even if they result in most people saying they don't like them cos they make their eyes go funny, will stand out from other artwork. So job is done, the merest impression of the characters faces created by the pics (showing at least some confidence in the iconography of the characters) and the name of he film, over and over again.

Yes, dreamers dream and doers do. But if dreamers DON'T dream, doers don't have anything TO do. Everything that is only here because people exist, only exists because someone thought of it., or in other words, dreamed it.
