Iron Man vs Whiplash in Monte Carlo from Iron Man 2.

For the first run in between our new villian and established hero, that occurs almost half way through a major comic book action movie, it is just fucking piss poor. Executed well for sure (good effects, half way decent performances from our hero and villain, an interesting setting) and has bags of potential, but it ends so quickly, with our hero only in it (in full costume) for around a minute, taking down the 'threat' so easily it is laughable. Plus Jon Favreau and Gwenyth Paltrow ruin any tension in it with their comedy sidekick/damsel in distress routine. Bigggest anti climax in action movie history. Utter wank.

Nightmare 2 is the best of the sequels, not counting New Nightmare as a "sequel", which is the best of all of them.

I was joyfully scrolling down the page, reading each answer and question, looking forward to answering the last one posted.  Then it all fell apart and I got sad.
