What a vile excuse for a human being. That said, arguing with 'we work because you guys don't want too' doesn't exactly help. Nonetheless, I doubt anyone on that tram deserved a single shred of the abuse they received from this clearly uneducated woman. Poor kid, too.

Probably best you skip it for a while, then.

During my short time in London (spent a year there not too long ago) I've unfortunately encountered a few such like individuals/ small groups on public transport. It used to leave my blood boiling for hours afterward.
